- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I have been to Southpointe OB/GYN a couple times before finding out it was pregnant with my second child. I called the clinic on Monday and was told by a very rude call service that the office was closed for training all day and to call back on Tuesday at 8:30. I called back on Tuesday after 8:30 and was greeted again with the same rude call service and I asked why the office did not pick up and she told me that they had not transferred their phones yet. Needless to say after several calls finally at 2:15 pm I was able to actually speak to the office receptionist and set up an apt for Friday. My husband took off work and all was good. Then Thursday morning, less then 48 hrs after I set the apt, the receptionist called me back to reschedule my apt because there was going to be training all day on Friday that both doctors would not be at the office so therefore my apt had to be moved.I am extremely upset that if there were not going to be any doctors in a doctors office on Friday that I was still given an apt and then called less then 48 hrs to reschedule it. I can only assume that this training had been on the books for longer 48 hrs especially if it is taking the only 2 doctors that are in the office and closing the office. The office does not seem to be run in a very organized manor if this is how they treat their patients.August 24, 2017by Scott Kerns
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Love Dr. McCarter but the front end staff is grossly incompetent. Nurses have 2 days to call you back, so if you have a serious issue that you call in and ask about, do not expect to hear back for days. Also, do not expect to get your test results for days upon days after your Dr. has them. If you are pregnant for the first time, choose a different practice all together as you will NEVER hear back from anyone. Front end staff forget to leave messages for the doctors, forget to return calls and have next to zero medical knowledge.March 26, 2017by Davina Wengren
