  I was referred to Dr. Pegan by another dental office to check out a previously done root canal on one of my teeth that is bothering me. I called about 10 days ago and set up the appointment. Ashley took my insurance information and said they will check out if I had any balance left for this year. No one called back, so I assumed everything was fine. I came to the office today for my appointment and I was told that they don't accept my insurance. Would it make more sense to call me and at least notify me that they don't accept the insurance before I drove 45 minutes each way for nothing? I've dealt with various medical facilities throughout my life and never had to experience any thing like this. Dr. Pegan must be a good doctor with all these great reviews, but office staff needs some customer service improvement for sure!
